Please read these terms of service (“terms”, “terms of service”) carefully before using Review Star (the “services”, “platform”) operated by Twomile Heavy Industries, Inc. (“us”, ‘we”, “our”).
Conditions of Use
We will provide their services to you, which are subject to the conditions stated below in this document. Every time you use the Review Star services you accept the following conditions. This is why we urge you to read them carefully.
Data Privacy
Before you continue using our services we advise you to read our privacy policy regarding our user data collection, storage, and protection. It will help you better understand our practices.
Copyright and Intellectual Property
Content submitted to the Review Star platform remains the property of the creator. Twomile Heavy Industries makes no claims to the copyright or ownership of content submitted. We do not sell, share, distribute the content collected on our platform. Submitted content may be subject to additional terms or use by person(s) or organization(s) collecting the content (i.e., the Review Star account user who created the submission form). Be sure to understand their terms and agreements when submitting your content.
Content published on the getreviewstar.com website (digital downloads, images, texts, graphics, logos) is the property of Twomile Heavy Industries, Inc. and/or its content creators and protected by international copyright laws.
AI Training
Your content is yours. We do not use any of your content for AI training, model development or any such purpose. We do not sell or provide your content to any partners or third parties for these purposes.
Content Restrictions
We reserve all rights to remove and/or edit customers’ materials which are obscene, illegal, defamatory, threatening, infringing of intellectual property rights, invasive of privacy or injurious in any other way to third parties. We reserve the right to reject or cancel accounts that promote such activity. Please notify us of any injurious content encountered on the platform.
Communications and Marketing Material
By using our services, you consent to receive occasional communications from us. You also agree that all notices, disclosures, agreements and other communications we provide to you electronically meet the legal requirements that such communications be in writing. We may send you emails regarding your account, and we may also send you marketing emails from time to time. If you do not wish to receive marketing emails, you may opt out by following the instructions in those emails.
We may use the name and/or logo of our customer organizations in our marketing materials. If you do not wish to allow this, please notify us.
Applicable Law
By using Review Star, you agree that the laws of the State of Ohio USA, without regard to principles of conflict laws, will govern these terms of service, or any dispute of any sort that might arise between you and Twomile Heavy Industries, Inc.
GDPR – General Data Protection Regulation (EU)
Our company policy is to meet or exceed the data protection, privacy, and security requirements identified in the GDPR. Additional details are available in our privacy policy.
CCPA – California Consumer Privacy Act (USA)
Our company policy is to meet or exceed the data protection, privacy, and security requirements identified in the CCPA. Additional details are available in our privacy policy.
US law regarding embargoes and trade restrictions will be enforced as applicable.
Disputes
We will first seek to resolve any dispute related to your use of Review Star directly with you, the client, with respect to our policies and legal obligations. If agreement cannot be reached, disputes shall be arbitrated by state or federal court in Ohio, USA. By using Review Star, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of such courts.
License and Data Access
We grant you a limited license to access and make use of the Review Star services, so long as you remain an active customer in good standing. Archive access to your account data will be available during your time as an active customer, and for ninety (90) days thereafter.
After 60 days of inactivity, we will notify you of our intent to expunge your data unless you ask us not to within an additional 14 days. In the event of no response, your data are expunged from our systems after a total of 90 days of inactivity. You may also request that we remove it sooner.
User Account
If you are an owner of an account on the Review Star platform, you are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials (username and password). You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account or password.
We reserve all rights to terminate accounts, edit or remove content and cancel orders at our sole discretion. This will always be done transparently and in accordance with our policies and legal obligations.
